Jane Salmen, President

Jane started Blueprint with one goal in mind: to build the smartest, most responsive career transition company possible. With over twenty-five years of account development experience, she has advised many of the nation's largest corporations on how to develop and manage a world-class workforce. She also understands that organizations are composed of talented individuals working toward a common vision; a central tenet of Blueprint’s career transition services.

Prior to launching Blueprint, Jane spent seventeen years as a national sales manager for a leading entrepreneurial staffing company, where she guided the company’s growth from an emerging player to a large, dynamic market leader. Her unrivaled commitment to developing human potential, whether in a regional call center or the executive corner office, ensures that Blueprint client organizations and individuals receive truly personalized service.

Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Jane received her degree from the University of St. Thomas in Education and Communications.

Jill Lyttle, Senior Vice President

An accomplished human resources executive, Jill Lyttle has spent more than twenty years in organizational leadership and consulting. Her distinguished resume features a unique blend of industry experience in financial services, insurance, manufacturing, and technology. Prior to joining Blueprint, she was Vice President of Human Resources for PLATO Learning, a Minnesota-based software company. Jill’s practical, thoughtful approach to leadership and service, as well as her ability to coach front line employees through C-suite, are the result of a deep and varied career, which also includes executive tenures with Prudential Financial, Cargill, US Bank, and International Multifoods.

At Blueprint, Jill is responsible for consulting and client services, account management, and career transition coaching. She also will lend her organizational design/development and leadership coaching expertise to client projects.

A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jill received her undergraduate degree from Saint Cloud State University in Psychology and Business. She has attended advanced human resources programs at Columbia University, Cornell University, St. Thomas University, and the University of Michigan. She received her executive coaching certificate from New Ventures West and is certified in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator.
